Greek carnival

Today I went to see Greek carnival. It was supposed to start at 11 a.m. but in Greece nothing starts in time so it started at 11:30! Anyway, the Carnival season in Greece is known as the Απόκριες (Apokries) and it takes three weeks before Great Lent. It has started today – Sunday 8th February.
There were a lot of different groups in traditional carnevalic costumes coming from White Tower to Aristotle square. I took some photos and videos as well.
