Why am I travel addicted?

The time passed so fast and I realized that I have already been in Czech republic for 6 months. Three more and I’ll be back in Greece again!
In a meanwhile I’m trying to travel a bit because I just cannot live without travelling! Travelling is a passion! Those who travels, know what I’m talking about.
Anyway, at the beginning of February I went to Milan with my brother and we spent a great weekend there. My next destination was Bratislava in Slovakia where I went with my beloved Slovak friend, one day trip with sightseeing and cinema (I totally recommend the movie “How to be single”) was very amazing! Although the best was the last trip because I connected many things – 2 beautiful cities, 5 Hungarian friends, my birthday, Greek sun, Greek mood, Greek coffee and many unforgettable memories!

You know, the feeling when you see your foreign friends again after such a long time is undescribable. The moments you spend together with them are just so intense because you want to enjoy the time together with them as much as you can. But when you have so many things to catch up on, the time passes so fast that you even don’t realize that you have to leave again.

That feeling I was talking about can appear also when you fall in love with some place. I fell in love with Thessaloniki and that city will always have a special place in my heart. That’s why it was also so hard to leave from there.. The time we spent there last year and the time when we were there one week ago, it felt like we have never left. It’s not even a possible express how we felt when we were there. Maybe that’s why I wanna share with you following words and I believe that just people who experienced it, can fully understand.

So why am I travel addicted? These quotes should help you understand that:“To travel is to take a journey into yourself.” Danny Kaye

“Once the travel bug bites, there is no antidote, and I know that I shall be happily infected until the end of my life.” Michael Palin

“Travel because you have no idea who you are until you experience yourself through different people and realize how we’re all the same.”
